About Me
I am a mum of two beautiful girls who has changed careers to become a childminder. My home from home approach is designed to ensure your children feel safe and secure and flourish in a warm, welcoming and fun environment. My home has a garden and lots of indoor and outdoor play opportunities with a range of toys and resources for children to enjoy and explore. I am located near a local play park, wide open natural spaces and children's play groups. I provide home cooked vegetarian meals and healthy snacks. My home is made complete with the inclusion of my pet dog and two pet cats.
My Experience
As an experienced primary school teacher, I understand the importance of children learning through play and building strong, happy relationships with those caring for them. Through my years of teaching, I worked predominately with the younger children aged between 3-7.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Educational Studies and I have worked as a primary school teacher for 14 years. After leaving teaching in the summer, I have recently qualified - through an Ofsted registered childminding agency - as a childminder. I have completed training in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Safe Sleep. In addition to this, I have also completed my full pediatric first aid training.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
A full day (8am-5pm) is £45, including snacks and home cooked lunch.
Contact for availability for half days.
After school pick-ups are £4.50 an hour from Newland St Johns Primary School.
