About Me

I am a Compassionate childcare professional with 3 years of experience in a professional childcare setting and an additional 2 years of private nannying, working with children aged 8 months and older. I am Knowledgeable in child development and I understand children's milestones and how to effectively support them in achieving these goals. I design and implement creative, fun activities that promote both learning and support development, ensuring that children can fully flourish while having fun! Maintaining a clean and safe environment is a priority to me and so I ensure to follow a daily cleaning/housekeeping schedule to keep on top of daily tasks and to create a smooth running environment. Safety is of upmost importance to me so I ensure this through regular checks of hazards and remove these immediately. I hold an up-to-date certification in paediatric first aid, safeguarding (Level 2), and food hygiene (Level 2). I also have a level 3 qualification in childcare early years.
I enjoy taking children outdoors to parks and local play areas as well as setting up fun and creative indoor activities that aids development in the five areas of development In the EYFS. Depending on the age of the child I will adjust activities to best suit their needs. I am fond of the Montessori approach but I am also happy to adapt to any routine/ behavioural approach that a parent has. My aim is always to build independence in children while providing the support they need.
