About Me
I’m Bea, a birth and postnatal doula based in Tunbridge Wells.
I believe every woman deserves to experience a birth that empowers them, makes them proud of their body and confident as a mother – to have a positive birth story whether that’s an elective caesarean or a drug free water birth at home, whether it goes to plan or not you can come away with memories to cherish if you are informed, heard and validated.
Those precious early days and weeks, the fourth trimester, are moments to be treasured – I can help you to create and protect that bubble, to make the most of that special time.
I can provide physical, emotional, educational and practical support and I can also offer some services remotely.
My Experience
I am currently a mentored doula having completed my course training in May 2021. I have experience as both a birth and postnatal doula.
In addition I am a mum to two little ones, a daughter (my eldest) and a son. My births weren’t perfect, didn’t go completely to plan, and the 4th trimester wasn’t without its challenges, but I had the right support team around me and it was a transformative, defining experience, the memories make my heart glow and I want to help others to experience this.
My Qualifications
I trained with Nurturing Birth in 2020/2021 and completed my course in May 2021. I also have a family first aid certificate.
My Availability
I do not overlap my on-call time for births and therefore only take on a maximum of 12-13 births a year. My availability for postnatal work is flexible and I can normally fit around what is needed for a family - I work weekdays, weekends, evenings and nights.

My Fees
- Doulas from £25.00 per hour
I offer a birth package for £800 which includes two antenatal appointments and once postnatal, in addition to support during the birth.
I charge £20 an hour for postnatal doula services and £25 an hour at night (7pm-7am).
I can also create bespoke packages so please get in touch to discuss.
