My Experience

I am a qualified and experienced primary teacher with five years of experience, primarily in KS1. I am proud of my ability to engage children with learning and aim to make my lessons active and encouraging. When tutoring, it is crucial first to establish a strong and positive working relationship and celebrate each step of progress a child makes. I have experience with children with a variety of educational needs. I adapt all of my teaching according to the needs of each student, slowly building their confidence through scaffolding, encouragement and appropriate challenges. If your child needs help filling gaps, increasing confidence, or pushing before their Year 1 phonics screening or Year 2 SATS, I’m happy to help.

My Qualifications

Early Years and Education degree from Nottingham Trent University
PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) from the University of Leicester
