I’m a positive, calm and caring person, with a passion for nurturing and supporting children to achieve their best.
I have over 20 years childcare experience and a genuine love of what I do.
I’m organised, hard working and reliable and have a good sense of humour which is essential when nannying!
I enjoy getting outdoors, craft and creating sensory play experiences that encourage children to have fun and learn through play.
I’m proactive and take the little ones in my care to baby classes, days out, toddler groups and the park etc. I encourage kindness, imagination and a positive sense of self.
I also ensure we have lots of play at home, reading books, singing and meeting other similar age children for play opportunities where they can interact and socialise with others.
I excel in building a good rapport with both parents and children and have excellent communication skills.

Ros looked after my little boy when he was 9 months old for several months. I could not recommend her highly enough, she is truly exceptional at what she does and is such a wonderful individual. She is warm, caring, energetic, charismatic and looked after and cared for my son as if he was her own.
Naturally, I was anxious leaving my son with someone new, however, after meeting Ros and seeing her with him, and how much he loved her, I could not have felt more relaxed. She would always find creative ways to engage and educate him, and was always patient. I could not think of anyone else I would rather look after my child and Ros’s emotional intelligence shines through from the moment you meet her.
I wholeheartedly recommend Ros, any family would be very lucky to have her.
My Experience
I’m a qualified teacher with a wide range of early years experience and have worked across years R to 2.
I worked as a 1:1 SEN teaching assistant for over 6 years, supporting children with a broad spectrum of needs.
I’m used to being creative and using my initiative and know the importance of being flexible and communicating well.
I have a wide range of sole charge nannying experience from twin babies through to older primary age children.
I have an enhanced DBS (on the update service), I’m paediatric first aid trained, have nanny insurance and excellent, checkable references.
I have my own children aged 13 & 16.
My Qualifications
BA (hons) with QTS.
I have worked as a 1:1 learning support assistant for 6 years and a sole charge nanny for 15 years.
My Availability

Ros has babysat for us, on several occasions. She arrives on time (or early), is trustworthy and so caring. Ros came to meet our baby for a play session, prior to starting babysitting. Her interaction skills were brilliant and our baby was really happy being around her. When we go out, my husband and I are able to relax, knowing that our baby is being looked after by someone excellent. Thank you Ros xx

Ros has been a nanny to our 1 yo boy for about 4 months. She was everything we could dream of - kind, bubbly, caring, responsible, engaging. She managed to gain our trust from day one.
Ros was very proactive and found a few wonderful toddler groups where she was taking our little boy nearly every day. They also did lots of library trips.
Our little one was always VERY happy with Ros.
Ros also took very good care of our 5 yo son during school holidays. They did puzzles together, playground and library trips.
We would not hesitate to recommend Ros to any family. She brings lots of warmth and friendliness that makes her a joy to have in the house. We are missing her already.

Ros came to us to fill a childcare gap we had for 2-3 months and has been wonderful in every respects since the day she first met us. She fitted right in with our family from the word go, is accommodating and flexible, and a pleasure to have around our home. Alongside her great personality she is brilliant with our kids who are 1 and 4 years old.
Ros spends most of her day with our 1 year old, whilst the eldest is at school, and ensures he is kept busy, stimulated and happy…. plus well-fed, with her homemade, healthy meals! Ros is brilliant with him, and her early years / childcare experience is quite obvious - she always has great ideas and activities, which are full of both play and learning.
Lastly, yet most importantly, we feel confident that she always has the very best interests of our two little ones front and centre, and trust her explicitly with them; whether that be in our home or when she takes them out for trips, activities and clubs. We highly recommend Ros and would be happy to speak with any prospective families about her time with us.
