About Me
Hello. My name is Rebecca. I’m an Ofsted registered childminder.
I have availability 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday so do get in touch.
I live on the Addlestone/Weybridge border with my partner & our two young sons. The oldest is 2 and the youngest is 1.
My home is a smoke free environment with a secure garden. I offer a safe and fun setting where children can learn through play, develop their communication and language & flourish and grow at their own pace. We like to go out most mornings.
I was a Primary school teacher for 10+ years and I decided in 2022 to leave the teaching profession and become a childminder so I get to spend time with my sons and watch them grow.
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to the EYFS curriculum and helping children to be prepared to start nurseries/ schools. I am passionate about outdoor learning and I am Forest Schools trained.
I shall be offering a home from home childminding service and I shall work closely with parents to ensure that the children have the best learning experience. Communication is key.
I am Ofsted registered & waiting for my first inspection.
We had our garage converted into a brand new separate room in 2022 ready to welcome the children.
My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience of working with children from preschool age to eleven years old. I have a good understanding of the EYFS from my work as a preschool teacher.
I have experience of caring/educating children with a number of additional needs including cerebal palsy, autism, aspergers, ADHD and limited mobility.
My Qualifications
BA Hons in Primary Education.
EYFS trained.
Green Bow Forest School trained.
Paediatric First Aid.
Safeguarding.
Food Hygiene.

Highly recommend Rebeccas childminding. My little girl absolutely loved attending! Rebecca is super fun and caring and would always have different activities ready for the kids to do. She would also keep me updated with photos and meals. Cant recommend her enough!

We highlighy recommed Rebecca's childminding service. Rebecca helped with school pick up and afterschool care for our 4 year old when he started school and helped to make the transition to school life so much easier. Rebecca was always reliable, and always on time for pick up and communicative with any feedback which is really important in the early days of school life.
We would 100% recommend Rebecca for her services!

Rebecca took care of our little one for 4 months and she did a brilliant job. He learned so much with her, everyday they went on a little adventure together and they had so much fun!!! Louis loved playing with Rebecca's son Jack, it was cute seeing how well they played together. I can't recommend her enough, she is a 10/10 and I will really miss being able to trust her to take such good care of my little one. Thank you ever so much for the brilliant job you've done!
