~ At Ila’s Montessori, children flourish in a warm and nurturing home-from-home environment, benefiting from plenty of individual attention due to our low adult-to-child ratios. Our daily extracurricular activities include forest and outdoor adventures, farm visits, arts and crafts, sensory play and physical activities.
~ Settling-In Period at Ila’s Montessori ~
At Ila’s Montessori, we understand that starting nursery is a significant milestone for both children and their families. To ensure a smooth transition, we offer a flexible and supportive settling-in period. During this time, children can gradually adjust to their new environment at their own pace, with parents welcome to stay until their child feels comfortable.

Over 20 years experience in childcare including Nursery work, Professional Nanny and working abroad.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Childcare Diploma, Full Paediatric First Aid, Safe sleep, Food Hygiene, Forest school training, Safeguarding children, EYFS Learning and Development.
My Availability
Monday - Thursday 8.15-18.15
We offer All Year Round & Term Time Only contracts
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
£85 per day and £42.50 for half day

Ila has cared for our 15 month old for the last 6 months and we are so happy we found her! I trust Ila completely with my baby and never worry about how he is when he is there. He always reaches out for her when we arrive which I take as an amazing sign that he is super happy there.
Ila takes the children outside every day or to super fun things like softplay or a role play cafe. She does really inventive indoors activities that feel really fun but are also educational.
I love the completely personal way in which Ila works. Our son doesn't eat much and is a bad sleeper- both of which she has gone above and beyond to accommodate him to make sure he eats and sleeps whilst there.
I wouldn't change anything about how Ila looks after our baby and definitely won't be moving him anywhere else! Thank you Ila, we love you! xx

We feel really lucky to have found Ila. She’s warm, kind, and just naturally brilliant with children, and it shows in everything she does with Aria.
The biggest giveaway for us is how excited Aria is to go to her. There are no morning battles, no hesitation, she just happily goes in, which honestly says more than anything we could write here. You can’t really fake that kind of reaction from a child.
Since starting with Ila, we’ve noticed Aria becoming more confident and willing to try things on her own. She clearly enjoys all the activities Ila plans, and being around the other children has helped her learn patience, which as any parent knows is no small achievement.
One of our favourite little things is that Aria sometimes copies the way Ila speaks. She’ll suddenly come out with these very polite, gentle phrases and we just look at each other like, “well… that definitely didn’t come from us!” It’s lovely, and a bit funny too.
Most importantly, Aria clearly feels safe, happy, and cared for. She talks about Ila with so much affection, and that’s the best reassurance we could ask for.
We honestly couldn’t recommend Ila more. She’s not just a great childminder, she’s someone who genuinely makes a difference.

Ila's been such a wonderful childminder for our daughter and she's just thrived in her setting. It was the first time we'd left her in the care of someone else which can be a worrying time but Ila maintained great communication and she settled really quickly.
Our 3 year old is always excited to go to Ila's house and we receive regular updates about the adventures that they get up to during the day along with what snacks/ lunch etc they've been having. They get up to such a broad range of things and it's fabulous Ila takes inspiration from what the children talk about/ show an interest in to shape learning and development activities.
We're so grateful we found her and couldn't recommend her services more.
