We recently started childminding with Delia for our 15 month old daughter following a sadly poor experience with another childminder. We were initially worried that our daughter may find it difficult to settle in with any childminder but Delia put those fears to bed within the first day. Delia gave our daughter everything she needed to settle and be happy within minutes, and within the first week we were doing full days with no trouble at all. We are extremely pleased with the high standard of care and professionalism consistently provided by Delia for our daughter and the rest of the children that are under her care. Delia creates a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop confidently both socially and emotionally.

Her dedication to supporting our daughter’s individual learning and development is evident in the wide range of well-planned activities and experiences she provides. She demonstrates an excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and promotes learning through play in a calm and caring setting.

We understand that it's not always possible to send updates, however with Delia, communication with parents is outstanding. We are regularly updated on our daughter’s progress, daily routines, and achievements, which provides us with great reassurance and confidence in the care being given.

Our child has made exceptional progress since attending, particularly in confidence, independence, communication, and social interaction. It is clear that strong relationships are built with both children and families, and every child is treated with warmth, respect, and genuine care. This has enabled our daughter to thrive, and despite delays previously she is now eating, walking and babbling with the best of them!

The setting is consistently clean, organised, and welcoming, with excellent attention given to safeguarding, wellbeing, and healthy routines. We have complete trust in Delia’s professionalism, reliability, and commitment to providing the very highest standard of childcare. Delia also maintains relationships with the parents of the children in her care expertly, and she is seen as both a professional and a trusted friend who will always mention the important things.
