About Me
Hello! My name is Scarlett, I am 26 years old, energetic and enthusiastic about outdoor activities, arts and crafts and adventures.
I am currently going into my second year doing a degree in Product Design at Bournemouth University. I have had lots of experience with babysitting, and child care during my teenage years and since leaving school. As well as a period of Nannying last summer on a farm with a family of a 5y/o, 3y/o and a 16month old on a farm in Devon, and au pairing with an 8y/o in lockdown in 2020. I grew up on a farm in Devon so I am also great with animals.
In Bournemouth I have had a few regular families, a 14 month old boy and his 5 year old sister on Sunday mornings, we go to the beach and the park. Also a family with 2 girls for mid week babysitting, lots of games before bed and bed time stories
I am flexible, easy going and hoping to do occasional baby sitting this summer; available both midweek and weekends.
My Experience
Baby sitting in the evenings during my teenage years. Been working with a few families in the Bournemouth and Poole area for children aged 14months to 9. Lots of drawing, walkies, games and story time together.
My Qualifications
I have basic first aid training. No formal childcare qualifications.

Scarlett looks after my 14 month old at the weekend and is fantastic. She has been very flexible and reliable, which is extremely helpful for a busy working mum! I highly recommend her. 👌

Our girls absolutely love it when Scarlett comes to play (babysit haha). Our eldest can be a bit shy and anxious about being left, but she loves hanging out with Scarlett and doing lots of fun activities before bed. Scarlett is so calm, considerate and interested in us all as a family. Her communication is fab and we've not had any worries about leaving the girls with her. I would definitely recommend to other families, but not too many as we don't want to have to fight over her haha

Scarlett has cared for our girls on a few occasions now and they took to her instantly. She is calm, relaxed and interested in their lives. Communication has been very easy and she has been flexible when timings have changed last minute. She is responsible and reliable. I appreciate her tapping into my girls' interests and taking the time to do arts and read with them. They are always asking when she is coming around again!
