About Me
I am a mother of 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. I am an American and all of my family are stateside, so I have loads of love and care to share with your children. I love animals and have no problem working in a household where they are present. I am also open to being a bit mothers helper as I like to do dishes, laundry and prepare meals.
My Experience
I was a stay at home mom for 11 years. I provided childcare in my home during that time on a 24 hour a day basis to single moms. I worked at a residential home for children with eating disorders as a therapeutic aide for 7 years.
My Qualifications
My formal qualifications are all from the USA, sadly they don't translate over here in order for me to work in healthcare. I had early childhood classes to provide childcare in my home back in the 1980's. I have a 2 year college degree (Associates Degree) in medical assisting and was a Registered Medical Assistant. And have previously been certified with healthcare related CPR and basic lifesaving. I also had lifeguard training as a young woman.
My Availability
My availability will depend on what you hire me to do and when I would be needed. For example: if you want to hire me on a fulltime basis (40 hour week), I would be available on a set schedule anytime during that week. I am also available for hoidays away.
