We chose Jan because she is a Godsend. I visited so many home from home environments and loved meeting Jan because she gave us so much time to get to know one another and work out if it was the right place for our son.
Her communication and understanding makes life easy. Not only do I trust her entirely but she is completely invested in every child in her care. They’re all so happy there. She cooks home-made meals, visits various local play groups, the playground and instils a sense of independence in all the children.
Jan is very well known in the area for her wealth of experience and has helped to look after our son in the way I want to bring him up. I regularly ask her advice on all and sundry and she’s been incredibly kind to our family at every stage. I really couldn’t recommend her more and it’s a joy to see our son grow in her care.

I cannot sing the praises of Janan enough. Otherwise known as Jan Jan in my house has looked after my daughter 5 days a week from one years old. Her warmth and reassuring nurture she has allowed my daughter to flurish.
She cooks excellent homemade food, and as a consequence my daughter relishes dishes which I would not normally make for her.
She encourages independence through enabling children to know that they are safe to try new activities.
What is really lovely is that my daughter has made some amazing friendships with the other children that she looks after.
She is very prompt at replying to messages and is excellent at relaying how the day has gone.
I was very lucky to have found her in the most informative years.

We are so lucky we were introduced to Jan. She has cared for Alfie since he was 11 months old and has been such a wonderful calm, kind and supportive presence in our lives and that of our little boy. She is very calm and gentle but also fun and knowledgeable. She has so much experience that nothing phases her- very useful if you are a nervous new parent.
I work odd and changeable hours and jan has been incredibly flexible and helpful with my schedule and with extra help during our recent house move.
She is also very attentive and notices things about Alfie that shows she’s really attuned to him and attentive to his needs which was really important to us.
She attends local playgroups and makes home made proper food for the children which was also a big plus for us. It really is a home from home environment where we feel like we’re dropping him off with a lovely auntie rather than to an impersonal childcare setting.
Jan is also excellent at communicating but isn’t on her phone all the time which is also a major plus.
Can’t recommend highly enough.
