Hello! My name is Billie and I am an artsy and musical childminder/tutor who also works as an children books illustrator. I have over 20 years taking care of children from 5 months to 12 years old, including my now 7 year old niece whom I have raised since birth. I'm experienced in spending time with children at home, helping them develop their intellectual and creative side, playing games, word play, arts and crafts, reading, among others. I would describe myself as creative, patient, reliable, hardworking, dedicated to my job, and generally very happy and comfortable around children. I’m also a keen cook and have my own cuisine for adults and children. I speak fluent English and Spanish and Portuguese (native). My hobbies are singing, painting, drawing, writing, trekking, and being around Nature and enjoying the outdoors doing activities with children.
My Experience
Over 17 years experience with newborns up to 12 years old. At home, helping with homework, arts and crafts, reading, playing and creating outdoors! I am also an NHS Community First Responder.
