About Me
Hi there! I have lived in Cornwall for over 20 years now, having moved here from London to attend art college in Falmouth. I met my husband there and we have two gorgeous girls of our own, aged 14 and 18 years.
As well as being a Mum myself, I have a wealth of experience working with children and babies of all ages. First as a Nanny and for the last 18 years as a primary school teacher here in Cornwall. I very much look forward to working with you and meeting your family’s childcare needs.
My Experience
I started my career as a full time Nanny before completing my degree in Graphic Design. I went on to study education at Post Graduate level and have been employed as a primary school teacher ever since. For the last five years I have been Early Years lead and Reception teacher at my school and my current position is Assistant Headteacher. However, I have taught in both key stages, so have experience teaching children from 4-11 years.
As a full time teacher, I am continually updating my CPD portfolio and have completed an extensive range of courses over the years, including up to date safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
I have my own car and have hold a clean driving license.
