About Me
Hello and many thanks for reviewing our profile. I am a Registered midwife and my husband is an Obstetric Doctor. We are both originally from the south west of England, and are fairly new to South Wales. Due to extenuating circumstances and international relocation of my husband, I am seeking assistance for childcare commencing April 2025.
As you can imagine I have irregular work patterns. Mine will predominantly be 12.5hr shifts long, days only due to underlying cardiac issues. These can be spread from Monday-Sunday, there may be potential day care required on weekends.
We have a 7yr old and a 13 month old. They are the most important people in our world. our eldest is friendly and generally well behaved and loves to play and our littlest is thriving with curiosity and loves play time also. The boys are huge fans of Bluey, Paddington bear and Peter rabbit.
My Requirements
We are ideally looking for either a private live out nanny. We will in particular need school and nursery runs and drop offs, as well as mealtimes, supporting the children then for bedtime routines safely until my return from shift. I leave for work around 06:00 and return around 21:00 during shifts. Nursery hours for our littlest will be 07:30-18:00 and for our eldest 08:00-18:00 with wraparound provided at the school. Carer must be dbs (fully enhanced), first aid trained and any additional courses will be beneficial. We understand that this is currently at advertisment level however I will be aiming to interview promptly for the right candidate, and we will need to have a trusted carer we can rely on.
Our eldest attends school in malpas and our littlest nursery is based in langstone, therefore it will be beneficial for the candidate to drive for drop offs and pick ups, safely. Car seats will be beneficial although not necessary as we can provide if needed.

A big thank you to Lisa, who was able to recently support us as an emergency baby sitter in unusual circumstances. Lisa was friendly, professional and comfortable to work with. For someone we met instantly the noght prior to the job, we immediately felt like we had known her for a while and she had a trusting sense and caring warmth surrounding her. She supplied good references and hears of experiences in neonatal care which presented me with reasurrance. Leaving my newborn for the first time was difficult and lisa made it possible and my worries eased. Thank you
