I am currently looking for babysitting and temporary nanny roles. Available from 5th February.
I am not currently looking to bring my daughter with me due to covid. This can be discussed.
I'd like to start by introducing myself. My name is Rebecca, I am 28 years old. I am a hardworking, ambitious, self-motivated person with a real passion for working with children. I am outgoing, caring and easy going.
I am a qualified nanny with experience in caring for children from as young as 0-16 years,. I also have experience in caring for multiples (twins) and multiple children of different ages.
I'm a very active person which is one of the many reasons I love being a Nanny, children always keep you on your toes.
I can assure you that your children will never be bored. I like to be creative and imaginative. I also believe it's important for children to socialise I will take them to playgroups and arrange play dates. Visiting local farms, parks and soft plays as well as planning stimulating age appropriate activities at home.
I love being outdoors so rest assured your children will get their daily fresh air.
I believe the early years of childhood are a crucial time, which is why I make sure to engage children in activities to aid all areas of their development. I keep up to date with changes in the EYFS, preparing them for school. However I am also a nanny who enjoys just having fun with the children in my care.
I am a keen cook and I enjoy cooking fresh healthy nutritious meals for both myself, my family, friends and the children I care for. I also enjoy including children in cooking and baking when appropriate as it teaches them about good nutrition and helps them to make good food choices as they grow up whilst learning many other skills at the same time. I find children also eat better when they're included in the meal preparation. I also have experience cooking fresh healthy nutritious meals for babies in all weaning stages. This includes batch cooking when required.
I am a nanny who works in close partnership with the parents, this allows us to work as a unit and deliver a consistent level of care to the children. As a nanny I am not only here to care for the children but also the parents by being flexible, available if you have a question or any concerns. To make things easier for you.
In my spare time I enjoy going for walks (especially with my dog and daughter, reading and sewing. I also enjoy activities such as baking, Photography, swimming, ice-skating, trampolining, horse riding and morw
I have been a Play Worker Volunteer at my local hospital and I also used to volunteer at the stables I rode with.
Why consider me as your nanny?
- I'm qualified and experienced
- I hold an Enhanced DBS
- I am First Aid Qualified
- I have nanny insurance
- Experience with SEN, Autism and ADHD
- Have experience with baby sign and currently learning British sign language.
- I hold a full clean driving licence and own my own car. Fully insured for use at work if needed.
- I am a very loving and nurturing nanny
- I keep daily diaries and take lots of pictures for you too see. I complete learning journeys for the children in my care if required.
- I also keep a track on the children's development using the EYFS Tracker and I complete the Two year check if required.
I am looking for a family whom will be happy with a nanny with own child arrangement as I have an adorable, outgoing, caring 2.5 year old little girl.
Bringing my little girl I believe will be an asset to the children I care for. It would provide your little one with a constant play mate and aid in your little ones development.
I ask that you please don't automatically discount me because of my daughter coming with me. It would be good to dicuss this further with you. I know many parents worry that a nanny with own child would focus more on their own child however I can assure you this wouldn't be the case as I will have atleast 3 days with my daughter alone.
My daughter coming can aid in many areas of your child's development: social, physical, emotional, communication and more.
Thank you for reading.
My last position was caring for a little girl of 3. I had been with this family since September 2016 until March 2019. This was a sole charge role. The family had their 2nd baby in February 2018. Rebecca has been our ad hoc nanny and babysitter since we moved to London. She impressed me when we initially had coffee together to run through our little girl and her requirements. She is friendly, professional and really understands children and child care.
Since working for our family we have never experienced any issues. She is a great communicator and replies promptly to my messages when trying to book her. She is timely and is never late for any of our babysitting sessions. She has never cancelled either.
She makes sure both of us feel comfortable when she does come over and always messages us when we are away with an update. Our little girl absolutely adores her. We also have pets who also love having Rebecca around.
I cannot recommend her enough. We really love her looking after our little one and we can clearly see how passionate she is about childcare.
You are welcome to contact me for a personal reference if you need to.
Thanks for everything Becka!
(A very happy and satisfied Mum)
I am highly disappointed with this nanny's unprofessional behaviour. I interviewed her last Friday at which she agreed to nanny for me starting this Monday. The days and times were all agreed upon at the end of interview.
She then messages me on this website on what seems like Sunday to say she took a job elsewhere and wont be nannying for me Monday. She had my mobile number but didn't have the decency to call me and let me know over the phone she assumed I would receive message through this website which I didn't until Monday morning.
I rang her several times on Monday morning as I hadn't seen her message yet on website and she ignored all my calls and texts.
I was unable to go to work because of her unprofessional behaviour and am now at risk of losing my job. I would have thought she would have the decency to adhere to what was agreed on Friday instead of leading me on and so drastically letting me down . I am so disappointed in how she has handled the whole situation.
I have put 1 star because I don't have a choice but to tick a star otherwise she isn't worth even that 1 star.

This review has left me shocked and disappointed and I want you to be aware of what occurred.
I attended an interview with Zahra on Friday 5th February. During the interview I got the impression she wasn't really interviewing me but instead it seemed she was offering me the position. I asked her if this was the case and she agreed. I informed her I would need to take time to think about it and asked her if she was interviewing anyone else at which she replied that she wasn't.
This left me feeling very pressured as though she was already fully relying on me.
We discussed hours and days and as the interview ended we agreed I would have a think and get back to Zahra by Sunday 7th February.
I decided to accept another position for many reasons and upon making my decision I tried to call Zahra on Sunday Morning, when I couldn't get through I sent two text messages and a further message on childcare.co.uk to be sure Zahra would get my message.
However on Monday morning I noticed a number of missed calls and text messages upon waking and immediately responded. I was taken aback by the rudeness of the messages i received.
I have never taken a nanny role unless I was 100% sure it was a good fit and that is why I like to have time to think over the role and how me and the family got on.
Becka is was on time and stayed a bit longer than we expected to be out, without any worries. She is very confident and friendly, LO loved her at first sight. I will definitely use her again
Me and my family recommend Rebecca. She took care of our two kids. My 4 years old son and my daughter who is 1 year old. We desperately needed a nanny to take care of them on such a short notice and she was brilliant. Both of my kids were really relax and happy around her. She is reliable and proactive and creative playing with them activities they truly enjoyed (painting, drawing, play dough). Thanks Becka!
Rebecca helped us with some emergency baby sitting in early September and we really appreciated what she did. Rebecca was punctual, had a good time with the children and we will definitely ask her again to help us in the future.
