About Me
I work currently part time as a nursery nurse on the maternity unit at the Lister hospital. My duties include breast feeding support/ formula feeding support, parenting advice, also have a role supporting midwives with babies medical needs. Previously I had a job in a pre-school where I predominantly worked with 2-3year olds working within the eyfs.
I do not work a set shift patterns and normally work 2 days a week, so if we decide mutually I’m the right person to help your family it will be on the understanding that it will need to work around my job.
Ideally I would like to be a mothers help as she adjusts to her new life with her baby, whether it be her first baby or adding to the family.
My Experience
I am a mother to 3 teenage children. I worked for 7years as an eyfs early years practitioner which includes lots of experience with special needs children. I have now worked for 4.5 years as a nhs newborn post natal nursery nurse.
My Qualifications
Cache level 3 in childcare
I also have completed lots of training in my current nhs post including safeguarding,life support, I have a current rolling dbs.
My Availability
I am available for part time hours around my current shifts which I am happy to discuss with any potential families.
