About Me
I live in Stainburn, Workington . I am married with 3 grown up children. We have an extremely friendly and well behaved golden retriever called Lily. My setting is home from home and the children in my care really view it as such. I have a variety of resources which I rotate regularly. We do arts and crafts, singing, dancing, yoga. Cooking and baking is a favourite. We are out and about exploring most days. We attend local toddler groups.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 26 years, previously in Staffordshire. We moved to Cumbria in May 2022. I have a level 3 qualification in early years. I hold all of the necessary qualifications to comply with Ofsted.
My Qualifications
I hold level 3 nvq in early years. I have up to date paediatric first aid and safeguarding.

I have a space becoming available in August.

Where do I even start with Bev... as a first time mam I was really nervous going back to work and putting my little one into childcare, the thought of her going into a big nursery setting was keeping me up at night, that's when my friend recommended Bev... the best recommendation I've ever had.
She is the most amazing person... my little girl loves her like an extra grandparent, bev is amazing with all the children, helps them learn in the best way and also lets them be children and have fun too... she also helps me on this journey of motherhood with help and advise if I ever ask for it
We love Bev and I'm sure she will be apart of our lives long past childminding

Bev is the childminder every parent hopes their children will be cared for by. I have had the pleasure of sending both my children into Bev's care and would whole-heartedly recommend others do the same.
Bev is knowledgeable, supportive, fair, nurturing, fun, active in the community and just an all-round diamond of a childminder. My children have thrived whilst being in Bev's home-from-home environment and still love to keep in touch with Bev even after going onto school.
