Yashwini is now a teenager, but let us roll back to 2011-2012. We found Jean through Childcare.co.uk when all three parties, Childcare.co.uk, Jean, and ourselves, were in their infancy in one way or another.

We would like to start with a huge thank you to Jean (and her family) for welcoming Yashwini as one of their own family member. Jean helped our daughter grow, develop, thrive, and express herself, even during those very early years of her life. We often refer to guardian angels as being reserved for a select few, and Jean was certainly ours during that time. Her outstanding care helped our daughter and our family so much that, even after all these years, we can still say that Jean will always remain our daughter's Guardian Angel (capitalised for a reason).

Yashwini was born with a hip condition, and unfortunately, the doctors failed to detect the early signs. We had our suspicions, but it was only after Yashwini started attending Jean's setting at around the age of one that those suspicions became a reality. With her keen eye for detail, Jean confirmed that she could see signs of the condition in the way our daughter walked. The rest is history. Today, our daughter is fully cured, but not before enduring more than four difficult years of surgeries and treatment during her early childhood.

Throughout that challenging period, Jean was meticulous in caring for our daughter, providing her with everything she needed, including nutritious home-cooked meals. We thank Jean for her kindness, generosity, motherly nature, and, above all, her ability to notice those extra little details in children that help bring out the very best in them. Jean was so caring that she even visited our daughter during one of her surgeries.

We are writing this review after all these years because we had lost contact with Jean, but we did not want to miss this opportunity to share our gratitude.

Would we recommend Jean? More than 1,000%! She is exceptional, warm, and genuinely dedicated to the children in her care. Her current reviews clearly show how she has continued to grow as a childminder, both in experience and expertise. I could keep writing about Jean because she brings positivity to everything she does. May this continue for many years to come, allowing many more children and parents to benefit from her outstanding services.
