I’m a retired lady having 4 grown up sons and 7 Grandchildren which equates to 40 plus years of caring for children. I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate and a Paediatric First Aid certificate. I am an ex Call Handler for the NHS Ambulance Service. Love of children and animals. I offer my services in Clients own homes. Sadly I can now only offer evening sitting but I also cover YORK and surrounding areas.
My Experience
Over 40 years caring for my own children, Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and worked in a nursery many years ago when my children were small.
My Qualifications
Worked for several charities. Can do basic BSL ex Emergency call handler and several years dealing with children

Jan has been assisting with my 6 year old son Zac, for a few months now and what an amazing lady! Her professional and caring approach meant that Zac took to her straight away, and gave me much needed time for work and going to social events.

Jan came and babysit of us since Christmas for our 3 children on a weekly basis while we at work. She is amazing, the children love her. She has now become part of the family, and make everyone feels so welcome. She is reliable, and alway professional. Does many activities with the children and engage well with them. Thank you Jan!
