Our little girl has been with Donna for over 18 months now and we could not be happier with the care she receives. It is a real family environment and along with Donna’s partner, they create a place where children can learn, play and flourish.

I am amazed how much my daughter knows in terms of her ABC’s and numbers and shapes etc. She is so excited to come home and talk about everything she has learned as it’s done in such a fun way. She talks about Donna and Roy all the time and you can just see what a wonderful relationship they all have. My daughter is always laughing when I drop her off and collect her.

I am grateful knowing I can go to work and not have to worry in the slightest about the care my daughter is being given.

All the food is home cooked with fruit and veg from the allotment. The children can learn where their food comes from and makes them more excited to try new things.

On the odd time there has been a small accident such as tumbling over (as toddlers do), Donna informs me straight away and lets me know what happened and what has been actioned in terms of care. Nothing a bit of love and attention won’t fix!

My daughter was very shy and clingy and Donna has really brought her out of her shell. She is a happy, confident little girl and loves her friends she sees every day.

I don’t think of Donna as just a childminder, more a member of our extended family. My daughter will be going to school next year and although we are excited about the next chapter, I am gutted she won’t be able to see Donna as regularly. Hopefully she will still be happy to have us in the school holidays!
