I honestly couldn’t recommend our childminder enough. She is so much more than just a childminder — she genuinely loves what she does, and you can see that in the way she cares for and supports every child.
She has played such an important role in helping my son grow and develop. She works with him on reaching his milestones, encouraging both his fine and gross motor skills, and always finds ways to help him learn while making it fun and enjoyable. She is also very observant and knows when something needs extra attention, intervening when necessary and communicating with the relevant professionals, including speech and language therapy (SLT), to make sure he gets the support he needs.
She was incredibly understanding and patient throughout potty training, never putting pressure on him and allowing him to progress at his own pace. She also encourages independence, teaching the children important everyday skills and giving them the confidence to do things for themselves.
But what means the most to me as a parent is knowing that my son was genuinely happy to go to her every morning. Seeing him excited and comfortable going into her care gave me such peace of mind.
She creates a warm, nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, loved and encouraged to be themselves. I will always be grateful for everything she has done for my son and for the positive impact she has had on his development. She truly puts her heart into what she does, and it shows. ❤️
