About Me
Hi I'm Flo, I am from Montreal Canada, living in Edinburgh. I currently spend most of my time volunteering as a research and engagement officer at Whale Wise a whale conservation charity. My favorite part of this position is visiting schools to teach them about the ocean. Outside of this I enjoy rock climbing, swimming and painting.
My Experience
I have many different experiences working with children. I have babysat many children between the ages of 2-12, in these positions my work included collecting them from school, preparing dinner and doing fun activities. I can also help with homework as I have tutored privately many subjects including biology, math, French and English. Beyond child care I have also taught highland dance classes and swimming lessons for children between the ages or 1-16. In my current position I visit schools teaching them about the ocean and my work with whales.
My Qualifications
I am a Red Cross certified babysitter, first aid trained and I spent 6 years as a lifeguard.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Natural History from McGill University, and a Master's degree in Marine Systems and Policies from the University of Edinburgh.
My Availability
I am available throughout the work week, during the day and during some evenings. I am also occasionally available on weekends.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
My current fees start at £11/hr. This fee increases by 50p for each extra service (making dinner, cleaning, picking up from school, helping with homework, etc). Fees may be negotiable for long-term arrangments.
