About Me
A family run home from home childcare setting providing a new and flexible approach to all your childcare needs. We put the individual child’s needs and those of their family first.
We aren’t a nursery, we aren’t a preschool, we are The Nest.
We care for children aged 3 mnths to 8 years plus from 7am-7pm Mon-Fri. Servicing several different schools in the area for wrap around care, and open 48 weeks of the year. We have small numbers of babies and children and highly qualified staff, we use family groupings and free flow areas of a family home and have plenty of outside space.
My Experience
Parents of three now teenagers, Claire has spent her life teaching (with Early Years specialty) in the public and private sector, as a nanny, and previously ran a very successful childcare setting in The Meon Valley. James has a background in hotel management and strategic business consulting in the hospitality industry. Together they have a wealth of experience and a skill set to have made the first year of setting up and running The Nest, a complete success, they enjoy working together and being able to pass on their own interests; of being outdoors; cooking and eating good food; and looking after each other and those around them, onto the children in their care. They are building a small, close knit team of like minded individuals to help support them in their growing business and welcome enquiries from families who require high quality childcare holding family values and flexibility in high regard.
