About Me
I am a primary school teacher currently working in a Primary School in Glasgow where I have been teaching for three years. My experience is working with children age 3 to 12 years old.
Teaching is my passion, I feel strongly about my role as a primary school teacher. I am highly dedicated and passionate practitioner, I am enthusiast and devoted to supporting children in their learning and development, to help them progress and achieve.
Out with my teaching career, I enjoy travelling with my partner. We are keen snowboarders and enjoy visiting new places together. Living an active and healthy lifestyle is very important to me. I regularly exercise and enjoy different physical activities such as walking, cycling and attending the gym.
We spend time living in Glasgow together, but also have property in London where we also spend alot of time.
My Experience
I attended college for one year to achieve my HNC, where I worked alongside a Primary one class for a whole school year.
Once I graduated from college, I went onto University to study my teaching degree, where I undertook four placements in Primary schools across East Renfrewshire and Glasgow, in Scotland.
I completed my NQT year in a school East Renfrewshire with a Primary four class.
I then went onto being a supply Teacher for Renfrewshire Council and Glasgow City Council, where I worked in over twenty different schools working with Primary 1 to Primary 7 pupils. I thoroughly enjoyed my role as a supply teacher as I gained experience working with children from different areas with different backgrounds.
Currently, I am a class teacher for a Primary 3/2 class in the Southside of Glasgow in Scotland.
My Qualifications
I studied and attained a HNC in Early Education and Childcare at college. I then went onto achieve a BA in Primary Education at the University of Strathclyde, where I studied for four years.
My Availability
I am available at weekends for tutoring and babysitting.
I finish my school term on June the 23rd in Glasgow, therefore I will be free week days, evenings and weekends to work in London.
