About Me
Hi! My name is Natalie and I’m a fully registered childminder.
I’m a 39 year old mum living in Basingstoke, Hampshire. My youngest is 18 and my eldest is 16 years old.
I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2006 and spent 12 years teaching children between the ages of 4 and 9 years old. In my last few years of teaching I taught in Early Years, which I absolutely loved!
I then left teaching as, although I enjoyed it, I wanted more time to spend with my own children while they were small.
After a short career break, I joined the NHS as a healthcare assistant in A&E. And then, after a year, started working as a maternity support worker.
I had baby Alfie in October 2022 and decided that early years is where my heart is, so I did some research and decided to train with a childminder agency.
I have recently started the Hygge in the Early Years accreditation and aim to offer the children in my care a happy, relaxed, safe home where they develop a love of learning!
My Experience
12 years teaching experience (children aged between 4 years and 9 years)
I have my own children (2 girls and 4 boys)
I worked for the NHS as a maternity support worker so have experience of working with very young babies
Registered with a Childminder agency (including safeguarding training)
First aid trained through Tigerlily
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) Professional Studies in Primary Education with English
Paediatric first aid training with Tigerlily
Childminder training with childminder agency
Working towards Hygge in the early years accreditation
My Availability
From 1st September 2023 I have space for one under 5 during the school holidays.
I can start as early as 7am.
I am also available for weekend babysitting

Natalie looked after my son during the summer. Would definitely recommend, I felt so comfortable leaving him with her, he was very happy and excited to play. I felt at ease as Natalie updated the app throughout the day of what activities they participated in and information of all his other needs. My son has dietary requirements and this was followed through by Natalie.

Natalie looked after my 2yo all day for a few days in a row while my husband and I moved house. She was so lovely and my 2yo had the best time and enjoyed playing with her kids. Natalie kept me updated throughout the day which helped me to know I had left my 2yo in good hands. Would definitely recommend Natalie!
