Parents! Beware !!!!!!

Reviewed

This person came for a shadow shift to show us how she works. Sadly no experience, did not put out and was out of her comfort zone. She declined the position which was perfectly correct. Instead of taking on board her lack of knowledge to the job she applied for instead she makes an anonymous call to social services! The list of ‘concerns’ were all down to her lack of experience so that was that and taken no further.
As if special needs parents don’t have enough on their plates this girl is very nifty to report parents for HER lack! Beware parents this girl is nasty and devious for no reason at all. Beware of this type of evil. Horrific behaviour. You really do not know who or what is coming through your door, judging on you with no special needs qualifications it transpires. I asked her for a couple of references and she gave one. For babysitting! I had to ask again for her present employer. She even made up things like I did not request a DBS of course that is part of the vetting procedure beyond a shadow shift. Didn’t like camera in the room with my child, she said she felt uncomfortable knowing it was for monitoring my child’s epilepsy, could not entertain my child from what I observed on the camera which I volunteered to send in to social services so they could see her lack of understanding and experience. Honestly, this is totally outrageous she do such a thing so parents you must be on the alert for her. To your face, she was invited to ask questions, she had none! She even let my child be in the kitchen! Hardly a playground. Something is very very wrong with this person, I may just have had a lucky escape! Social care were very nice about everything, in fact her rubbish was so unconvincing they let a family advisor handle it as they have NO CONCERNS!. What a horrible disgusting person. This has never happened before and it makes you wonder how inadequate a person who would do such a thing , so parents safeguard your children. One day, when she has children someone will do that to her and it will be warranted and well deserved simply because she doesn’t have a clue! She is a true and utter disgrace. Please share to other parents and forums. All parents should know about this.

In response to your review, I dispute everything you have said. The job was very different to what was advertised and discussed previously. I had legitimate safeguarding concerns and even took advice before reporting from a reputable safeguarding lead. I have had over 10 years experience in the education sector and am a qualified professional. I have never experienced anything like this.
I stand by what I did, and would do it again as I felt there were concerns.
In my opinion, a qualified specialist carer would be more suitable for your situation.
