My Experience

I was a babysitter within the family and outside of the family (for my neighbour's kids)
- Picking up the kids from school, taking them home, and accompanying them to tuition centers, sports, or music classes.
- Preparing food, giving snacks, assisting with eating if needed, washing the dish together, ensuring the kids have a lunch nap and taking care of their hygiene.
- Selecting fun activities and entertainment such as games, reading the book with them, coloring, playing fun brain games and, bringing them to an outdoor park for a walk or swimming, helping the kids with homework too.
- Prepare timetable together with the kids; the kids tell what they want to do, so we allocate how many hours can spend on each activity,
- Supervising TV, watching, and playing iPad games; usually, I will set the alarm for how long the screen time is; once it's ringing, the kids will do other things.
- Cleaning and organizing around the house together after play or eating.

Once in a while, I will visit a children's home. I did some activities with them and told them to draw their favorite things. We dance, eat, sing together, and be their listener if they need someone to talk to and share something personal.

My Qualifications

Currently I am pursuing a Master's in Human Resource Management and Consulting at the University of Bath and has a professional work experience for 6 years.

Foodie - I once won third place in a healthy cooking competition at my previous workplace, competing with 10 different hospitals among people who were older than me. I live alone here, so I cook daily, and my cooking skills have been further improved. I do love to guide the kids and let them be part of the foods they eat, so they enjoy the process of cooking and broaden their mind thinking.

Nurturing - I love to observe the kid's behaviour first, to know their preferences, and always try to show a good example of how certain things should be done indirectly.

Tidy & Organised - My parents taught me to always leave my room or place clean before I go; I even received an excellent remark when my warden did an ad-hoc spot-check in my student accommodation, and my room was chosen for an audit purpose as well.

My Availability

I am open to long and short-term nanny roles. Starting 6th June 2023 until September 2023, I am done with my 2nd semester and just preparing for my dissertation. Beginning October 2023 until Jan 2024, I am open to working more than 20 hours a week since I have completed my studies, so I can continue work while waiting for my graduation day.
