My name is Maria. I am a reliable, patient, understanding and flexible person who likes to support children to access the curriculum in a fun and tailored way. I was born in Spain and I moved to the UK to continue my academic and professional development. Teaching is my passion and I love to learn new things.
My Experience
I worked as a teacher for 4 years in Spain, teaching students ranging from 7 to 18 years old. I have been working in London for the past 2 years as a music teacher in a Special needs school which specializes in Dyslexia as well as other neurodiverse conditions. I currently work as a full-time Music teacher and Maths intervention, teaching students from year 4 to year 10. I have experience working with young individuals (1-to-1 as well as groups) with language processing disorders and other learning difficulties such as ASD and ADHD.
