About Me
A recent expat from Paris, I am looking for work in childcare, especially immersive bilingual childcare which is my area of expertise. I am patient, thoughtful and adaptable, extremely communicative and very well organised. I have studied and trained in mental health management, psychiatry, neurophilosophy and child psychology. I am fluent in three languages (English, French and Mandarin Chinese) and can provide children with a fully immersive linguistic environment.
My Experience
I have mostly worked with children age 8 and up, but am comfortable with younger children of speaking age. I am experienced in not only looking after the children I care for (daily hygiene, meal prep…), but also coming up with educational activities (museum outings, arts and crafts workshops, foreign language films) for them, and supporting them emotionally (meditation, yoga, psychomotricity exercises). I have worked for children with special needs (autism, ADHD).
My Qualifications
I have a Philosophy Masters from Sorbonne University in Paris, with a focus on neurophilosophy, psychology and metaphysics of mind.
