I was so anxious about finding a childminder for my son when I returned to work after my maternity leave, however my anxieties were laid to rest from my first meeting with Elizabeth. From the very first meeting my son and I were both made to feel very welcome in Elizabeth’s home; she supported his transition to her care with a settling in session and reassured me during this, and the first weeks of his session with her by sending me regular text messages and photographs.

My son has loved his days with Elizabeth from the very start, and thrives from the varied activities, toys and day trips Elizabeth provides. He also loves the other children who are looked after by Elizabeth and regularly talks about them at home; Elizabeth promotes positive relationships between the children, and is creative in devising games and activities which are inclusive and engaging for all the children in her care, across a range of ages.

It is clear that Elizabeth puts her heart and soul into her work; she is professional and reliable but most importantly caring. She takes a genuine interest in the children in the care and has shared in my excitement about my son’s development and achievements. Knowing that my son is happy and well cared for is so important to me and I am so grateful that we have found such a fantastic childminder; I cannot recommend her highly enough.
