About Me
I have a qualification from the University of Glasgow in BA Primary Education (without TQ). I have been on several placements within schools working and supporting children from the ages of 4-11. I have volunteered with South Ayrshire council with young people (up to the age of 25). As well as this I have most recently been working with Disney on the Cruises where I was engaging with children of all ages. I have grown up around children with being the eldest grandchild.
I enjoy working with children and engaging in fun and interactive activities.

Chair of South Ayrshire Youth Forum
As Chair of this organisation I have led on a variety of events such as conferences, award ceremonies and meetings. I am a confident speaker in small groups, one-to-one interactions and large crowds. As a result of planning and hosting 3 conferences over the past 3 years I am able to handle last minute changes, working under pressure and talking in a way a lot of people will understand.
I am a team leader and very good at working in a team. I have taken the back seat during events that I know can be better tan by my colleagues and continue to delegate and push people to become better than when they started.
Primary School Placements
I have been involved with several schools across Scotland to help children meet and achieve their goals for semesters at schools. I have worked with a range of ages and abilities and can effectively adjust my approach for the child feels respected and can meet their own personal and emotional goals. I have created plans to enhance education and have successfully managed classrooms with minimal support of up to 30 children.
My Qualifications
Online University Degree - Understanding Autism
I have completed a course online about understanding autism and different ways I can support a child and family through an ASD diagnosis and creating plans to support the child’s well-being.
BA in Primary Education (without TQ)
I have my Bachelor of Arts degree in primary education and have supported children in their educational journeys through a variety of ages and abilities. I have worked alongside children with ASN, ASD, hearing impairment and sight impairment.
