I am a patient, kind and gentle early education professional. My experience is in day care/nursery settings as well as some casual babysitting. I am passionate about working with children and enjoy the unpredictability of every day. I love working alongside children to meet developmental milestones as well as exploring their interests and learning through play.
I enjoy getting to build strong relationships with children, their family and community to understand the whole child and plan meaningful and relevant experiences.
My Experience
For the past 7 years I have been working in a small private day care in Auckland New Zealand. During my time there worked with all ages from 6 months - 5 years and built amazing relationships with the families and children.
I started working as a teacher before moving into a lead teacher role and then beginning to work as assisting the manager in a second in charge capacity. I am comfortable and confident in assisting with care routines such as nappy changes, toileting, changing clothes, sleep time, meal times and bottle feeding. I enjoy a clean space and take care to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
My Qualifications
I have a bachelor of education in teaching specialising in early childhood from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
My Availability
I’m available on weekday mornings and evenings. As well as occasional weekends.
