About Me
I am based in the Ruskin Drive area of Worcester Park.
I have been workng as an OFSTED registered childcare provider for over 20 years, having previously worked in the banking & finance sector.
I am a warm, caring, and reliable childminder offering a safe and nurturing home-from-home environment for young children. I specialize in caring for children aged 9 months to 4 years, allowing me to focus fully on the early years of development.
I am a member of coram/Pacey, and a gold member of childcare.co.uk.
I continually reflect on my practice, keep up to date with the EYFS, and attend relevant training to meet current guidance and best practice.
I provide a calm, structured setting where children learn through play, exploration, and everyday experiences. Activities are carefully planned to support each child’s individual stage of development and are in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). These include sensory play, messy play, stories, songs, role play, and creative activities that encourage communication, confidence, and early learning skills.
Outdoor play is an important part of our daily routine. Children have regular opportunities to play outside, explore nature, and develop physical skills through activities such as walking, climbing, ball play, and free movement. Outdoor learning helps children build coordination, resilience, and curiosity while enjoying fresh air in a safe and supervised environment.
I provide a nutritious, balanced menu that supports children’s health and development in line with the EYFS. ( all meals included within the hourly rate )
I do not offer school runs, meaning my time and attention are fully focused on the children in my care throughout the day, providing consistency and a relaxed routine.

In addition to my 20 years experience as an OFSTED registered childminder, I have over 20 years experience in the banking sector.
I have 2 adult daughters, one teaching full-time at a local grammar school, and one teaching full time at a local primary school.
My youngest son is studying politics at King’s College London.
My Qualifications
Educated to degree standard.
Politics, economics & psychology.
On a more personal note, I enjoy cooking, gardening, & attending local craft fairs. I was a member of the Worcester Park women’s institute until fairly recently.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm. 48 weeks of the year.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Fees include: breakfast, lunch, & a light tea.

Since the moment we met Bridget we knew she would take amazing care of our daughter. She is kind, caring and thoughtful. Our daughter always goes in with a smile on her face and thinks of Bridget as another family member. She has grown and developed so much in Bridget’s care through her guidance and provision. For us as parents she has helped advise us on things such as potty training and always been flexible and helpful when we have needed. I couldn’t recommend Bridget enough and we are so sad to be leaving her due our daughter starting school. Bridget has set her up ready for the world and she will always have a special place in our hearts.

Bridget looked after my daughter and son over a period of 6 years from the age of 1 - at first childminding three days a week and then for after school care and during the school holidays - until we moved out of the area.
As soon as I met Bridget, I knew she was the one, as she is warm, caring and amazing with the children. Bridget provides very much a home-from-home experience, which is exactly what we wanted. Both my children loved going to Bridget's house and we always knew they were happy, safe and having lots of fun with their friends.
Bridget is part of the Forest Childcare Association so she regularly took them to local parks and green spaces to explore, which they loved. She also has a lovely big garden which is perfect for outside fun.
I can't recommended Bridget highly enough - she is wonderful! We all miss her!

Bridget looked after my daughter full time from age 1 until her 3rd birthday - and we still visit for school holidays even though we've moved away a little.
As two full time working first time parents without family nearby finding the right childminder was a huge worry. We visited many childminders but we instantly knew Bridget was perfect for us and our daughter.
Bridget quickly became one of my daughters favourite people - she learnt so much and had so much fun there with her friends at Bridgets house. Not only this but made my life as a working mum so much easier, knowing our daughter was so happy and well looked after everyday.
I can't recommend Bridget enough and I hope we can stay in touch!
