Emma's Reviews
Parent
Below are the reviews that Emma has written.
My eldest daughter is now nearly 4, and has been going to Bearsprings since she was 20 months old. My youngest daughter has been at Bearsprings for a year since she was 7 months old. They are both thriving at Bearsprings, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
You can absolutely tell that Ruby has a background in early years teaching, my daughters are constantly learning, and encouraged to try new things. Watching caterpillars evolve into butterflies each year always generates a lot of excitement.
What I love most about Bearsprings is how my daughters have learnt to interact with other children. The small setting gives children the opportunity to play with children of all ages. And with Ruby’s and Ursula’s coaching, my daughters have learnt to be incredibly considerate and nurturing, particularly with younger children.
You won’t get the regular detailed updates that other settings might offer, but I have no doubt that this is because Ruby and Ursula are investing their energy and time interacting with the children, rather than documenting their day. They’re both happy to fill you in on the day’s activities at pick up.
My children will be very sad to leave… 😢

Dear Emma,
Thank you for reviewing the services provided at our childcare setting. We are delighted to hear that your daughters have had a happy and productive time with us, whilst making solid progress across all areas of the curriculum.
Throughout their time at Bearsprings, they have developed strong listening, understanding, and speaking skills alongside growing confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning through everyday experiences.
At Bearsprings, we prioritise regular communication with parents through face-to-face conversations and phone calls. The majority of our time is dedicated to provide meaningful and practical experiences for all our children, so photos are shared periodically while respecting all families' image-sharing preferences of their children.
We are very grateful for the positive partnership we have shared with you both, in supporting your daughters' learning and wellbeing and look forward to continuing this in the future.
Best wishes always,
Ruby & Ursala
