About Me

I am an experienced early years practitioner and primary TA based in Dorchester, Dorset. I am a passionate and enthusiastic worker who enjoys working with children. Following my university studies I have gained many other qualifications to develop my professional practice.

My Experience

I have worked as a TA in reception/KS1 classes supporting children of mixed need in local schools. I have also worked as an early years practitioner in nursery and pre-school settings- where I have been a 1-1 for children who have complex needs and nonverbal. I am confident using PECS and PROLOG2GO as a communication aid.

Through my past experiences i am confident in my ability to care for children and create a fun, nurturing environment. I enjoy creating exciting provisions to further children’s development through their own interest. I especially enjoy creating messy play and being in an outdoors environment ! I have experience as a Forest school assistant and like to explore the beautiful area of Dorset I live in.

I have a full driving license and a car so can travel within the Dorset area.
