About Me
Hi, my name is Nikol but everybody calls me Niki. I am currently in my final year of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry at University of Oxford. I am fascinated by all the secrets that lie in the cells of our bodies and make us who we are. It goes without saying that I dedicate a lot of my free time to my studies. Apart from that, I delight in music. Ballet has played a fundamental role in my life since I was four. Moreover, I enjoy playing piano and I love baking sweets for my friends and family. I believe childhood is the best part of one's life. During the past years, I found that babysitting allows me to travel back in time and therefore, gives me a great amount of joy which is the main reason why I love it.
My Experience
I have over 7 years’ experience working with children. In 2016, when I was employed as an animator in a camping during summer. I was looking after groups of children of various nationalities. We would do sports and crafts, play games, dance, etc. At the age of 17, based on academic excellence and merit I participated in an exchange program allowing me to study in Scotland for a year. There, I decided to work voluntarily as an assistant in the nursery and P1. Frankly, I have the nicest memories from there. When I returned to Prague, I started babysitting children from my neighbourhood, plus I got involved tutoring students from primary school to high school seniors. I mainly focused on Czech, Maths, English, and Chemistry. Currently, I still provide tutoring lessons online and babysit whenever I am home for Christmas, Easter, and summer vacation.

SQA (2018): AH Chemistry (A*), H Human biology (A*), H Mathematics (A*), H French (A*)
A-levels equivalent = Czech Maturita (2020) – Maturita results: Chemistry (A*), Biology (A*), Mathematics (A*), Czech language and literature (A*)
University of Oxford – Prelims (2020), Finals (2023), awarded First class

Nikol was a great baby sitter. She arrived early, and was immediately very kind and friendly with our two boys. She took great care of them and they were very happy with her, as were we! She replied to messages quickly, and we felt they were safe in her care.
