About Me
I am a hardworking and conscientious law graduate with a keen interest in gaining further work experience with children of various ages and abilities. As someone who is preparing for a career in law, being personable and approachable with clients is a necessity and therefore this is an opportunity that I would carry forward and hold dear to my heart. I have had experience babysitting my nieces and nephews who are aged 1-13 years. I love working with children and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help educate and see progression both academically and socially. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and am flexible in my availability and fees as indicated in my profile.
My Experience
I have had previous experience working with children during my years at secondary school in completing the DofE Bronze Medal award, dedicating my Monday evenings to volunteering at SNAP in Warley, Brentwood. I held a great deal of responsibility as a yoga teacher's assistant, taking part in 2 separate hour-long classes with children aged 7-25 years old who varied in their abilities. I would report on the progress made by children both individually and collectively to the administrative staff, and would occasionally sit in meetings with parents in order to discuss any arising issues. I volunteered additional time to workshops that took place during the school holidays, spending one-on-one time with younger children and supporting charities such as SIBS. The experience provided me with a sense of purpose, greatly improving my emotional communication skills and ability to get things done in often difficult circumstances.
I have undertaken paid work within retail and hospitality services since the age of 14, working with corporations such as Waitrose to local businesses like Slipped Discs Brown Sugar. I have strong customer service skills and have had to work under pressure during busy night shifts at bars and during big events such as the annual Christmas market, in order to maintain safe and vibrant atmospheres.
My Qualifications
I hold a 4-year undergraduate law degree from the University of Kent, obtaining a First Class Honours and with one of my years spent abroad in Toronto, Canada. Also, I have a qualification in Level 1 Japanese language which I undertook during my second year of university. I obtained A-levels in History, Politics and Maths, respectively achieving AAB; and I have 12 GCSEs ranging from A*-A, including three "8"s in Maths, English Language and English Literature. In regards to my extra-curricular activities, I have a performing arts background having taken LAMDA examinations up to Grade 8 (Gold Medal certification), and have taken ISTD and UTD exams in Tap, Contemporary Modern, Ballet and Pointe Ballet. Furthermore, I have taken Grades 1-5 in Piano with ABRSM.
My Availability
My availability is flexible across these dates and times, but I will be open to other timings depending on how much notice is provided and whether it is an emergency.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
My fees are flexible, however I may have to consider costs of transport if taking work outside of a 5 mile radius.
