Hi! My name is Evie and I am an 18 year old film student with three years extensive experience working with children and young people with special needs. I am a fun, caring individual with a real passion for development through play. I am hoping to bring some smiles and joy to families looking for some extra support in the evenings!
My Experience
Nov 2020-Nov 2021: volunteering on weekends as a playworker at a playscheme for children aged 4-13 with additional needs.
Nov 2021-Nov 2023: paid playworker at the same organisation working with children and young from 4-18 on Saturdays and holidays
March 2023- July 2023: full time employment as a project worker helping children and young people who are currently out of education due to their educational needs
Nov 2023- present: Promoted Deputy Leader at same organisation (Saturdays and Holidays)

- Playwork (targeted towards children of all abilities)
-Behaviour support and Safety Intervention
- Moving People (comfortable with hoists and support apparatus)
- Medication Administration (particularly of emergency meds incl. epilepsy medication, epi pens)

My Qualifications
-11 GCSEs (1x Grade 7, 5x Grade 8, 5x Grade 9)
- Currently Studying for an extended diploma in film production (worth three A-Levels) and an A-Level in English Language and Literature

My Availability
I am in full time education at a sixth form college in London however I am available most evenings and Sundays. I am happy to work last minute and have my own car so able to drive with short notice.
