About Me
I have been a Montessori Teacher since My oldest child was three years his is now 33, I have owned in total 4 Montessori Schools 2 of which were Primary schools in Spain (English Speaking). I have been told that I am a brilliant online guide and achieved excellent roles in Covid. I like to think outside the box, learning isn't all about sitting at a desk consuming books but I believe in hands on learning. For instance making a cake is not only english, science and maths but life skills as well. Obviously I work with children on the British curriculum but I always try and adapt their learning to take into account THE CHILD.
My Experience
As mentioned above I have run many schools and also been the designated Pastrol Care supervisor. I will also come down to the child's level and try and find away around difficult situations to benefit the child. I have worked both in physical classrooms, 1-1 EAL specialist, Montessori guide and tutor. Montessori Trainer at LMC. I have recently undertaken a TEFL course in order to help foreign students acquire the english language.
My Qualifications
Montessori Qualified with 35 years experience. Teacher in 4 of my own schools, and Head in my last 2 which where primary schools from 3 years to 11 years. I took cookery classes for children after school and helped many Ukrainian children to learn the English Language. I have completed many courses to support the British Curriculum and continue to study in my recent TEFL course.
My Availability
On line or face to face I am available after school and weekends. As most children are currently attending schools I would assume that no other times are required but could be available with notice.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
My fees are always negotiable but would be in excess of 15.00 pounds per hour excluding mileage. Online work always works out slightly cheaper as no mileage is required. However the fee would depend on what package you and your child required.
