About Me
Hi. I’m Katie and my intention is to provide home and online tutoring that is fun and friendly. My service provides bespoke teaching and learning that is thoughtfully tailored to meet each individual pupil’s unique learning needs. I work from my home in Middlesbrough, visit local schools or educational settings and also offer sessions online.
I have been a teacher for eighteen years and have a breadth of experience within the primary key stages. At the heart of my practice is children’s wellbeing, therefore my approach to each session is to not only boost achievement, but ensure confidence grows. I strongly believe that a happy learner is a flourishing one. I deliver teaching with a holistic approach, creating a trusting pupil, teacher and parent rapport in a safe and relaxed setting. I strongly believe praise to be key in encouraging little learners to achieve and ultimately do their best.
