Katie has looked after our son for the past two years, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care she has given him.
She provides a safe, nurturing, home‑from‑home environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely loved. Our son loved his time with her — he was always happy going in and came home with a smile every day.
Katie offers an amazing variety of activities that keep the children engaged including reading, playdough, colouring, building blocks, puzzles, role play… the list truly is endless. She also makes sure they spend plenty of time outdoors, exploring local parks, visiting the library, and attending playgroups.
You can genuinely tell how much she cares about the children in her setting. Our son flourished in her care, growing in confidence and independence, and we’ve seen such positive changes in him over the two years he spent with her.
As first‑time parents, the regular updates Katie provided were invaluable. Knowing what he was doing and how he was feeling gave us so much reassurance.
Although our son has now moved on to nursery, he still talks about Katie — which says everything about the impact she’s had on him and the hard work, love, and dedication she puts into her role.
We couldn’t recommend her more highly.
