My Summary

My Experience

In march of 2020, I began babysitting a loverly family of 4, who have two children aged 6 and 8. I did and still do look after them in holidays and some nights. I have really enjoyed this as iv been able to use different roles of responsibility eg, cooking meals, taking them on walks, creating activities and being trustworthy eg, locking doors (if going out), making sure they cross the road safely and lots more.

I began working at Hummingbirds nursery part time in the summer 2020 . I really enjoy the job there my role of being an assistant consists of:

Reading the children stories
Helping them with different activities
Taking them on walks eg to the park
Pushing them on swings
Playing
Cleaning up mess
Etc

I really enjoy my job at Hummingbirds as im very passionate about keeping the children safe, happy and most of all making sure they have a pleasant experience whilst being at nursery.

In 2022 I became a student at Jack and Jill’s for nearly a year , to help gain my childcare level 3 qualification, as part of this role I work along side other practitioners in helping make sure the children get the best possible outcome from nursery by helping ensure they feel safe and happy. Each day we put out different activities which help the children with there physical , emotional and social development some activities may take place outside aswell as some take place in within the nursery setting . We also do lots of other things for example reading stories , helping them get to sleep , helping them at meal times and most of all encouraging the children to become independent.

I have also done house keeping and most weekends in a local pub to help gain more experience and help customers get the best satisfaction from their hotel room by helping keep the rooms to the best standard possible .

On top of this I also babysit / nanny for lots of different families in the local area and have done for a couple of years now if you would like to see any references feel free to ask.

My Qualifications

I have nearly finished my childcare and early years level 3 course at York college. However I have passed a safe guarding course , I have a clear DBS and have also done a Autism Awareness course. On top of that I’m also booked in to do a paediatric first aid course soon.

My Availability

Im very flexible with times and dates as long as you give me a bit of notice I should be able to help accommodate your families upcoming plans and needs .

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

Im very flexible with times and dates as long as you give me a bit of notice I should be able to help accommodate your families upcoming plans and needs . I charge an hourly rate but depending on the length of time I’m working along side your family prices may be negotiable.
