About Me
I've lived in Luton for over 30 years, and I'm a mum to two uni students. I'm friendly, I love kids of all ages and I'm really passionate about education and childcare.
As my own family gets older, I'm looking for part-time work to keep me busy and earn a little extra! I live in the High Town area of Luton and enjoy meeting new people.
My Experience
I am a qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in English Language and Humanities and a postgraduate certificate in Teaching Shakespeare. I'm currently studying for a PG Cert in Inclusion and have SEN experience. I have worked across all key stages, mostly in primary, and I also teach English to adults. I am experienced in working with those for whom English isn't their first language. My specialism is English, but I'm also able to tutor in all primary subjects. I've been working in education for almost 20 years, and have a wealth of experience.
