About Me
Hiya! My name is Kysha and I hold a 2:1 degree in Psychology from the University of Birmingham.
I'm a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic person who loves being around children. I enjoy creating fun and stimulating environments where kids can learn and grow. I have experience as a nursery educator, private nanny and tutor, and my background in psychology helps me understand and support children in the best way possible!
My Experience
I have 2.5 years of experience as a private nanny, working with families from a variety of backgrounds. I believe building a strong, trusting relationship with parents is essential, as there’s nothing more important than supporting you in raising your child! Alongside this, I’ve worked in four different nursery settings, caring for children from 4 months to 5 years old. I provide a nurturing presence and love combining fun with learning. My long-term goal is to become a child psychologist, and I truly enjoy seeing the many different sides to children as they grow.
I have sole-charge experience with: 0-2y, 2-5y, 5-7y, 7-12y, and tutoring teenagers! I can send my CV through for more details.
In addition, I’ve delivered over 300 lessons on a tutoring platform and currently work in a Primary School, delivering interventions to Year 3 and 4 students who need extra support. I make use of trusted educational resources such as TES and Twinkl to design engaging lessons. I pride myself on building strong rapports with my students, tailoring each session to their individual learning style and interests. I also have 2 years experience as a private tutor for a family of three (kids were 5, 8 and 11 when I first started).
My Qualifications
- 10 GCSEs, As-A*s
- 3 A levels: Psychology (A) History (A) English (B)
- Bsc Psychology - 2:1
- Paediatric first aid (2025)
- Currently pursuing a MSc in Psychology and Trauma (fully online)
My Availability
I am available from 09/11/26 , looking for a role to begin sometime in November but open to starting later in the year/early 2027 for the right family. Currently, every other Tuesday, I have a commitment from 15:15 onwards - can be discussed. I'm very flexible and happy to work with whatever suits your family's needs.

Kysha was lovely with my young son (under one), taking care of him at home and out for a walk. He really warmed to her. She was very open and willing to learn all about what he likes, his schedule etc.
Very organised and punctual too. Highly recommend.

Kysha helped us with our 2 babies for several days and she was just great. Punctual, pleasant and patient. The children loved her very much and so do we. Highly recommend.
