Hi! I’m Maryam and I’m a 21 year old living in birmingham. I have a huge passion for caring and helping others as well as working with children. I’m extremely flexible and very understanding to everyone’s situation as I know parenthood in very unpredictable! I have a vast range of experience so please don’t let my age concern you! I’m extremely friendly, positive and I’m always smiling and laughing. Moreover, I’m very respectful, mature and always remain professional when needed.
My Experience
Although my age may appear young, I have a lot of experience within childcare. I have a level 3 extended diploma in childcare and health and social care as well as working in primary schools for just under 2 years. Not only this, my grandma and mother are both foster carers! From the ages of newborn up to 10, I’ve been able to see firsthand the care and support that children need. Not only this, but also I’ve been able to witness first hand how rewarding childcare can be. I have been babysitting for around 1 year now - family friends, close relatives, friends and their families. I decided it is now the time to start offering my service’s professionally as it would be my dream to continue to do these roles going forward.
My Qualifications
- level 3 extended diploma in childcare and health and social care
- 2 years experience in primary schools with 1 year based in a SENCO school so I have experience with children who may have special needs. I also have family members who have special needs so I’m very experienced in that sector.
- First aid trained
