About Me
I am an actor living in Brighton with over 5 years of experience working with children 1-1 and in groups. I am co-director of the community interest company Stone Soup South and regularly facilitate parent and baby groups in and around Brighton. I am a creative and active person, who enjoys crafting/painting and drawing as well as dancing and hiking. I also run a theatre company and make and put on regular work for children and adults.
My Experience
I have worked as a teaching assistant, facilitator and 1-1 support with children who have emotional/behavioral needs and in smaller groups to facilitate learning in English and Maths. I have a MA degree in Acting and BA in Drama have worked as a theatre practitioner in and out of schools for companies such as Chichester Festival Theatre, Big Foot Arts and Little Creatives. Generally I work with children aged 4-11 but have experience working with young people up to the age of 18. I also work as a party entertainer and so am experienced in playing games, telling stories and engaging in imaginative play.
