About Me
Hello thank you for checking my profile, my name is Claire, I have started my childminding business in January 2025. I live in Castleford with my husband and we have three children, 20 years, 18 years and 2 years old. We also have a little friendly cockapoo dog. I offer a home from home environment following free flow play and expanding on children's interests. I am registered for the government funded places for eligible 2, 3 & 4 year old. My Experience
I have lots of experience in Early Years. I worked as a Teaching Assistant in an Ofsted rated Outstanding infant school, whereby I was in Reception class and worked alongside Nursery. I have also worked in a busy Primary School and been a Safeguarding Lead.
My Qualifications
I have NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning
Safeguarding
Level 3 award in Paediatric First Aid
Level 2 in Health and Hygiene
CAMHS course
LEGO Therapy
My Availability
I am open Monday to Friday, term time only. My opening hours are 6.30am until 6.00pm. Please message me any enquiries ?

As a first time parent I was so worried about leaving my child with a stranger but Claire made me forgot all my worries. My child has been with her since the day she opened, his confidence has come on leaps and bounds, he has learnt his numbers, alphabet, how to share, she takes time to find things that the children are excited about (all animals for my boy) she goes out of her way to find books/videos that will keep the children motivated and find facts to teach them. My child comes out everyday giddy to tell me what he’s learnt today. She keeps you updated on everything they will be learning that term, send pictures, she’s helped massively with toilet training for me. She is hands down the best childminder in the area!! My child jumps out of bed in a morning excited to go to Claire’s house. Couldn’t recommend her enough.
