We’re a family of four based in Richmond, with two happy, energetic girls aged 4 and 7. Our home is calm, warm and organised, and we value kindness, structure and a good sense of humour. The girls love crafts, playing outside, reading and imaginative games, and we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with children and being part of their weekly routine. We’re hoping to find someone long-term who can become a trusted and positive presence in our home.
My Requirements
About the role:
We are looking for a reliable and caring babysitter to look after our two girls (aged 4 and 7) after school each week. The role includes school pick-up (less than a 5-minute walk from our home), evening routine, and light household tidying related to the children. We may occasionally request additional ad-hoc help and possibly overnight care approximately every second month. We are looking for someone long-term who can become a consistent and trusted presence in our girls’ weekly routine.

Hours:
• Every Thursday, year-round
• 16:30–21:00
• Start date: ASAP
• Pay: £15–£18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Payment: Weekly

Duties:
• Pick up from school and walk home
• Prepare and serve dinner
• Help with homework
• Bath time and bedtime routine
• Tidy up toys and clean kitchen/food areas after dinner

Ideal candidate:
• Kind, caring and patient
• Engaging and proactive (not reliant on screens for entertainment)
• Confident managing two children at once

Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with primary school aged children
• DBS check completed
• Paediatric first aid training
• Non-smoker / non-vaper
• Able to lift at least 20 kg
• Willing to provide two references
• Fluent in English
