About Me
We’re a friendly, creative family living just outside Canterbury in the Kent countryside (CT4). We have two daughters — a toddler (22 months) and a baby (4 months). We love the outdoors, value a calm and nurturing home, and are looking for someone kind, reliable, and experienced to join us as a live-in nanny.
We both run creative businesses (photography and furniture-making) and are launching a glamping project. After two years of full-time parenting, we’re ready to welcome support so we can focus more consistently on our work. We’d love to find someone who’s confident with young children, enjoys rural life, and ideally speaks French — though a great personality fit matters most.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a live-in nanny from for around 40 hours/week with occasional evening or weekend help.
Responsibilities:
Daytime care for our baby
Nursery drop-offs/pickups for our toddler (Tues–Thurs)
Children’s meals, nap support, play, crafts, and outdoor fun
Light housework: laundry and kitchen tidy-up
Occasional evening coverage or potentially traveling with us on trips
Essentials:
Experience with children under 3
Confident caring for two young children
Driver (own car a bonus, but not required)
Non-smoker and pet-friendly
French-speaking preferred, not required
We offer a private en suite room, your own lounge, countryside living, and competitive pay. Most of all, we’re looking for someone warm and dependable who will feel at home with us.

Izzy joined our family in spring 2025 as a full-time nanny to our two daughters, Daphne (then 18
months) and Twyla (then 6 months).
From our very first meeting, we felt she would be a wonderful fit for our family. Izzy brings a
breadth of childcare experience across different ages and settings, and this showed immediately in
the calm, capable and reassuring way she stepped into our home.
Over the past year, she has supported our girls through meaningful stages of growth. With her
encouragement, Daphne’s confidence, language and independence flourished, and Twyla moved
steadily through her early milestones with attentive, loving care. It has been a genuine joy to watch
the girls grow with Izzy by their side.
Izzy is kind, compassionate and emotionally intelligent. She has a natural warmth that children
respond to, and she brings fun, creativity and energy to her days with them. She built a close and
affectionate bond with both girls, and they have been very fond of her.
We are deeply grateful for the role Izzy has played in our daughters’ early years. Any family would
be fortunate to have her caring for their children, and we would confidently recommend her for
future childcare roles.
