Ofsted registered childminder based in Chivenor, North Devon.
I am providing a home from home childminding provision in my home where I live with my husband, young daughter Harper, our dog Rusty and cat Olive.
My passion is outdoor play. I love to explore all areas of nature and spend time learning about the world we live in and finding new things to explore.
I come from a large family with 4 younger siblings where we grew up on a farm surrounded by animals and space (where my love for the outdoors and animals first started).
I have created a safe and enriching space for your children to learn and develop.
With a fully enclosed garden, a cosy book corner, easily accessible recourses, a weekly theme and endless opportunities for imaginative play your children will thrive and flourish.
My Experience
During my previous employment I worked with children ranging from 9 months to 5 years old. I was also fortunate enough to experience the workings of the governmental childcare funding as well as working with children between the ages of 5 and 8.
As mentioned before I have a young daughter.
Before employment I also babysat for a range of ages.
My Qualifications
I have a full DBS check, my paediatric first aid and a level 2 in food safety.
I have completed the Childcare UK childminding qualification that is recognised by OFSTED which covers the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding and recording development.
I have also been trained on government funding.
I often undertake developmental training to further my knowledge and experience within the Early Years industry.
My Availability
I will be offering spaces for children 0-5 years, Monday - Thursday
